How we calculate
We count calendar days, rather than fixed 24-hour blocks. Your birth date is your first day of life; 10,000 elapsed days mean your 10,001st day of life. Weeks have seven days. Monthly milestones use the corresponding day, or the last day of a shorter month. Leap years are included.
Example: 366 calendar days pass between 1 January 2000 and 1 January 2001. On the birth date itself, zero calendar days have passed and day one is in progress.
